  • Favard Prizes 2019

    The SFmu Favard Prizes 2019 have been awarded to:

    Life Sciences: Pedro Baraçal de Mecê (ONERA Châtillon), for his thesis « 4D exploration of the retina for adaptive optics-assisted laser Photocoagulation » ;

    Materials Science: Enrico Di Russo (GPM Rouen), for his thesis « Study of the physical mechanisms leading to compositional biases in atom probe tomography of semiconductors ».

    Pre-congress Sfµ Workshops

    Registration to the pre-congress workshops is now open! 4 workshops are proposed:

    • Quantitative Analysis by EDX within a TEM and a SEM (theory, practical, and data analysis)
    • EBSD: theory and practical on a HELIOS Nanolab G3 CS FIB-SEM
    • Photonic Microscopy: STORM
    • 3D ultrastructure in life sciences based on in situ mechanical slicing in the SEM : application in the TENEO VOLUMESCOPE SEM

    Opening of the call for abstract and the registration process

    The registration and abstract submission for the next Sfµ meeting, to be held in Poitiers 2-5 July 2019 are now open. This meeting is synchronized with the spring workshop of GN-MEBA. The scientific program together with the list of invited speakers can be found here.
